Rules to live by

Hi, everybody. It's me. I'm back again with just a few tips on how to really enjoy your days.
First of all, it is important that everyone know how you feel. If you are having a bad day, let someone know right up front. Maybe they can give you a pacifier or sing your favorite song.Secondly, always eat what is given you. You just might like it. Just remember not to put too much in your mouth at one time!

When you are not given food fast enough or food that you like, look for something else that might help satisfy your appetite. Paper always works well for me. Sometimes they put it right on the table for you to have with your meal! Those are the really nice restaurants.

Always be polite and wave. People will wave back and you just might make them smile. I know they always smile at me.

Take time to ponder the really important things in life. Never forget to wonder how that blanket is so soft or why the sky is blue or what makes the flowers grow. You will want to know your questions when you meet someone really smart that can answer them for you.

Find fun things to do. I just went on a trip to an amusement park and got to ride a merry-go-round. The horse went up and down and there was all this loud music. Experiences like that really spice up your day!

But...when there is no merry-go-round around, play with what is handy. I like wipey boxes, pens, paper, books; anything works. Just be creative. Well, I hope these tips really help you to enjoy the days that you are given. Oh, yeah and don't forget to thank God for giving you the day and the fun things in it! Below is a video of me walking. One thing I never forget to do is explore everything around me!

A Word from Emma

Hi, everybody! I am just peeping in to say hi and let you all in on my exciting life. I think you already know, but I am getting to be quite the big girl. My mom keeps talking about this crawling thing, but I don't see her doing it. I want to walk like everyone around me. Sometimes I fall, but it doesn't hurt that bad.

Mommy says I am into everything. But I am just trying to figure out what all is around me so I don't miss anything. I don't think that is much different that anyone else. I think this is a very close picture because I was climbing on Mommy...that is one of my very favorite things to do, well, besides tear up paper and chew on the cell phone...and, well, I like to do lots of things.

Sometimes Mommy won't let me have what I want. That makes me very upset and I don't really understand why she has to do things like that. That camera thing is so cool, everytime she pulls it out I want to stop everything and hold it.

I am getting really good at waving and clapping. When I hear music, I like to clap. When I see someone or something new, I like to wave. I think that is the polite thing to do, don't you?
Mommy and Daddy like to pop out and make me squeal. It is lots of fun. I can get really excited sometimes. The other day Mommy was so funny in the grocery store I was just squealing and squealing. Then she had to put me back in that old car seat and I had to cry all the way home to let her know how upset I was.

Well, I hope you life is just as fun as mine. I get to go to my very first Senior prom tonight. I am so special I get to go early. Well, see ya later. Bye-bye.
